HPR 571 - Clinical Exam and Diagnosis I

Prerequisite(s): Athletic Training major only. ‘C’ or better in HPR 502, HPR 503, and KIN 831/KIN 831L. Corequisite(s): HPR 571L. This course provides a general overview of the examination process while also providing an in-depth study of lower extremity with an emphasis on examination techniques used for diagnosing common injuries. This course includes a laboratory experience that will help students develop hands-on skills necessary for the examination of simulated athletic injuries affecting the lower extremity.
