Dean’s Office

The dean is the chief administrative officer of the College of Education and Human Sciences and is responsible for its operation and relations with all stakeholders. Associate deans and assistants to the dean oversee the college’s student support services, program curriculum, research, and external relations, and are responsible for a variety of administrative matters.

Schools

The College of Education and Human Sciences generates and disseminates knowledge that empowers individuals, communities, and society. The schools within the college offer undergraduate and graduate academic programs that prepare and develop exceptional educators and researchers, as well as mental health, human service, health, exercise, nutrition, and information professionals. Likewise, the schools produce and provide opportunities for scholarly research and outreach that address scientific and practical problems of our state and nation.

The College of Education and Human Sciences includes many nationally accredited professional programs. National accreditation ensures program quality. These programs may have additional admission requirements, application procedures, and/or degree progression requirements beyond those of the University. Additionally, some programs within the college may require students to purchase professional liability insurance and/or pass an acceptable criminal background check that meets program standards.
