HPR 502 - Foundational Concepts in Athletic Training

Prerequisite(s): Admission into the MSAT program. Corequisite(s): HPR 502L. This course provides a balanced introduction to the knowledge, skills, and clinical abilities that span the profession of athletic training. Students will find current information covering the breadth of theory and application of all domains of athletic training. Specifically, students will learn important concepts of patient care related to cultural competence, ethical practice, risk management, and documentation.
