3 hrs.Prerequisite(s): Athletic Training majors only. HPR 502, KIN 831/KIN 831L, and HPR 503. This course provides an emphasis on advanced skills of taping & bracing and emergency injury management. It includes a minimum 150-hour clinical experience focusing on clinical integrated proficiencies provided in the USM athletic training facility or that of an off-campus affiliate. Students will be expected to start their fall clinical assignment in early August as pre-season athletics begin their practices. Students will be expected to gain an additional 50-200 hours during their pre-season assignment.
