HPR 502L - Foundational Concepts in Athletic Training Lab

Prerequisite(s): Admission to the MSAT program. Corequisite(s): HPR 502. Introduction to the clinical component of the Athletic Training Program. Emphasis placed on the athletic training facility policies and procedures and the basic skills of taping, padding, and bracing. Students will also begin to understand the steps of an injury evaluation and how that relates to writing a SOAP note.
