Music Education Minor (Master’s and Doctoral)

In an MM program, a minor in Music Education will consist of at least nine (9) successfully completed credit hours at the 600-level or higher in Music Education. In a DMA program, a minor in Music Education will consist of at least twelve (12) successfully completed semester hours at the 600-level or higher in Music Education. Graduate students must receive a C or better in any class for it to count toward graduation requirements.

Graduate Students must consult with the Coordinator of Graduate Studies before adding any minor to their degree program.

Nine (9) credit hour above required degree plan for master’s; twelve (12) credit hours above required for the doctorate.
