Pre-Health Informatics and Information Management Program

The University of Southern Mississippi offers a two-year curriculum in health informatics and information management that prepares students holding the RHIT credential for the two-year professional program within the School of Health-Related Professions at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Acceptance into this program is dependent upon the degree of preparation and level of academic achievement of candidates and is determined solely by the professional school. Students completing the entire program receive the Bachelor of Science in health information management from the University of Mississippi.
