Sociology Minor

Requirements for a Minor

The minor in sociology is designed to equip the student of another discipline with an understanding of the fundamentals of the discipline of sociology. Faculty members will assist students to select courses that best complement their major interests. Students will complete a minimum of 18 hours in sociology, including:

• SOC 101 - Understanding Society: Principles of Sociology 3 hrs.
