The university offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communication. The degree is designed to teach students how to strategically influence and further an organization’s mission through communication. The program teaches students how to deploy an array of tools to craft, track and measure communication effectiveness while gaining a complete understanding of paid, earned, shared and owned media. This program offers four tracks: Public Relations, Advertising, Media Sales, and Organizational Communication.

Internship: The optional internship course (COM 429 ) provides supervised experiential learning in a professional setting. Eligible students must submit an internship application prior to the midpoint of the semester preceding the requested internship. Students should meet with the school’s internship coordinator to discuss internship options.
