The BAS in Applied Technology is designed for professionals who desire to advance their careers. Students can transfer 45 hours of technical or military credits as electives, and up to 15 hours of general education credit. By accepting the transfer of up to 45 technical or military credits, this major allows students with an interest in applied technical professions the opportunity to obtain a BAS degree.
Professionals in this major integrate technical or military skills with competencies gained in areas such as human capital development, business, and industrial technology. Program Academic Policies and Requirements:
In addition to coursework in applied technology and human capital development, students will have an option to take 15 hours in a “concentration” area which will complement prior transfer career and technical coursework. The 15 hours will be decided in consultation with an advisor.
