The Biological Sciences Bachelor of Science degree program offers students comprehensive training in the field of biology. Coursework covers all aspects of the biological sciences including cell biology, genetics, evolutionary biology, ecology, microbiology, zoology, and botany. The curriculum prepares students for careers in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, graduate programs in the life sciences, graduate programs in health-related fields like physical therapy or physician assistant programs, ecology, environmental science, conservation biology and science education at the secondary school level. Biological Sciences majors work closely with a faculty advisor to tailor course selections to fit their specific career goals.

- Students seeking a second baccalaureate in biological sciences typically complete the same course requirements as do students seeking the first baccalaureate. These courses include the major area of study requirements, the additional requirements, the upper-level writing-intensive course, and the calculus competency.
