Chemistry Minor

Students minoring in chemistry will gain a foundational understanding of chemistry principles that will help prepare students for various careers and endeavors. Students must complete 20 hours of chemistry and co-requisite laboratory coursework: CHE 106 , CHE 106L , CHE 107 , CHE 107L , CHE 255 , CHE 255L , CHE 256 , CHE 256L  and choose a minimum of an additional 4 hours of 300 or 400 level chemistry coursework (analytical/instrumental, biochemistry, inorganic, organic or physical).

• A grade of C or higher is require in each course.
• The following classes cannot be counted towards the minor in chemistry: CHE 104 /CHE 104L , CHE 108 , CHE 110 /CHE 110L , CHE 251 /CHE 251L , CHE 308 , CHE 400  and CHE 409 .
