Child Advocacy Studies (CAST) Minor

The CAST minor provides students with knowledge of how to organize and implement a multidisciplinary response to child maltreatment. CAST focuses on experiential, interdisciplinary, ethical, and culturally sensitive content that provides a collective knowledge base for responding to child maltreatment for professionals who work with children. Students will choose courses in the various disciplines of CD, CJ, DPH, FAM, PS, PSY, SOC, and SWK
Academic Policies and Requirements for Minors:

- Students must maintain a 2.50 Cumulative GPA and earn a minimum grade of C in each course within the minor.
- Students must complete an application.
- After completion of the CAST minor courses, students must complete a self-report measure.
Hours to Minor: 18 hours
