The School of Education prepares educators, higher education professionals, and researchers. The school offers an undergraduate degree in elementary education. The school also offers graduate secondary alternate route pathway to certification and Master of Art in Teaching programs. Graduate programs in educational administration are available for those who aspire to be leaders in kindergarten-12th grade settings. Numerous field-based experiences (i.e., practica, teacher candidacy, and administrative internships), built upon reflective practice, are provided throughout the programs.
Our programs are nationally accredited through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and are nationally recognized by the Council for Exceptional Children (special education) and the Association for Childhood Education International (elementary education).
