SPA 181 - Beginning Spanish I Credit for Study Abroad

Prerequisite(s): prior arrangements for evaluation and receipt of credit. Beginning study of the Spanish language and culture, with emphasis on communicative skills (equivalent to SPA 101); credit will be granted for systematic study of the Spanish language and culture in a recognized teaching institution, in a Spanish-speaking country, approved in advance by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures; department will examine and grade progress and achievement of participants in program before granting credit.
