MED 419 - Advanced General Music Methods

3 hrs.
Prerequisite(s): MED 199  and MED 311  or instructor permission.  The purpose of this course is to stimulate thinking regarding general music. Building off of elementary music methods (MED 311), course topics will address what to teach (curriculum), how to teach (the tools of teaching such as directives, modeling, and feedback), and prominent pedagogies within the field.
