This foundational course examines the skills needed to communicate knowledgeably and effectively in contemporary society and serves as an introduction to the School of Communication. This class introduces students to communication faculty, research, and the major areas of study, highlights possible careers students could pursue with a communication degree, and presents ways students can become involved in media production, teams, and organizations.
