FLM 479 - Film Theory and Criticism

3 hrs.
Prerequisite(s): Must be taken Senior Year; ENG 101  & ENG 102 . Combining reading, lecture, screening, and discussion, this writing-intensive course introduces students to major film theories, including realism and modernism debates; apparatus theory; feminist, phenomenological and postcolonial film theory; and theories of digital cinema.
