The Business Management Certificate is a 12 hour curriculum that provides foundational knowledge and skills in four areas of business management: Human Resources, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Behavior, and International. The certificate program will be offered both face to face and online, and is designed for students with non-business undergraduate degrees. The Certificate in Business Management Essentials is open to non-business majors and members of the business community that have an interest in developing or augmenting their management skills.
In order to receive the certificate, students must receive no lower than a "C" and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA in the certificate courses. Of note, all of the courses listed above currently exist and are taught regularly.
Students in all majors are welcomed to obtain the Business Management Essential certificate.
MGT 300 is a pre-requisites for MGT 364 and 454.
Junior standing is a pre-requisites for MGT 375 and MGT 495.
Pre-requisites are waived for non-degree seeking students only.
