Requirements for Certification
The School of Kinesiology and Nutrition offers a group of aquatic-related courses that may be of interest to students who wish to receive instruction leading to various certifications offered by the American Red Cross. Any Southern Miss student is eligible to be certified in the aquatics specialization by successfully completing the following classes.
