Colleges of pharmacy normally require three or more years of preprofessional training, but minimal requirements for admission vary. The student will need to determine the appropriate curriculum to meet the specific admission criteria for the college of pharmacy that the student wishes to attend. The prepharmacy curriculum meets admission requirements of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Mississippi as well as many other pharmacy schools. The Pharmacy College Admission Test is required by the University of Mississippi; it may also be required by other schools. Test dates vary from year to year, but students typically begin the application process in their junior year.
