American Indian Studies Minor

Fifteen (15) hours from at least two disciplines:

• ANT 315 - American Indians 3 hrs.
• ANT 333 - Archaeology of North America 3 hrs.
• ANT 433 - Prehistory of Southeastern Indians 3 hrs.
• HIS 474 - American Indians and the Invasion of America 3 hrs.
• HIS 475 - American Indians of the Southeast 3 hrs.
• REL 322 - Native American Religions 3 hrs.
• SWK 488 - Social Work and First Nations/Indigenous People 3 hrs.

Note:

Other courses may be accepted at the discretion of the program director. Courses within the student’s major may not be applied toward the minor.
