The Performance Certificate Program is a 4-semester program offered by the Strings Division at USM that offers students the opportunity to concentrate on enhancing their individual instrument skills, enabling them to pursue a deeper mastery of their craft. This specialized focus for violin, viola, cello, string bass, and guitar students not only cultivates their artistry but also enhances their competitiveness in the job market for performance-related roles. The students will participate in weekly private lessons, chamber music, orchestra rehearsals, and studio class. Moreover, the program provides valuable support to students who require assistance in adjusting to the demands of university-level education.
