Environmental Geosciences BS

The B.S. program in Environmental Geosciences is designed to develop scientific knowledge and skills essential to understanding Earth composition and dynamics, natural resources, environmental problems and hazards, and sustainable development. The curriculum blends coursework focused on geographical and geological principles, human-environment interactions, and the application of geospatial technologies.

Students in the degree program will work with an advisor to develop an individualized plan of study that conforms to their interests and prepares them for careers in environmental assessment, geology, geospatial analysis, natural resource management, and urban & regional planning, among others.
