Chemistry Minor

Students minoring in chemistry will gain a foundational understanding of chemistry principles that will help prepare students for various careers and endeavors.

A grade of C or higher is require in each course.
The following classes cannot be counted towards the minor in chemistry: CHE 104 /CHE 104L , CHE 108 , CHE 110 /CHE 110L , CHE 251 /CHE 251L , CHE 308 , CHE 400 and CHE 409 .

Hours to Minor: 20 hours

Course Requirements (20 hours)

CHE 106 - General Chemistry I 3 hrs. AND
CHE 106L - General Chemistry I Laboratory 1 hr.
CHE 107 - General Chemistry II 3 hrs. AND
CHE 107L - General Chemistry II Laboratory 1 hr.
CHE 255 - Organic Chemistry I 3 hrs. AND
CHE 255L - Organic Chemistry I Laboratory 1 hr.
CHE 256 - Organic Chemistry II 3 hrs. AND
CHE 256L - Organic Chemistry II Laboratory 1 hr.
Select 4 hours of additional CHE courses.
