Must be taken Senior Year. DEG 01. Major Area of Study Requirements (33-36 hours)
For this major, a minimum grade of “C” is required in HIS 300 and HIS 400. DEG 02. Additional Requirements (15-18 hours)
- Select 12 hours in a single world language. Fewer hours may suffice, but course level 202 must be completed.

* This course satisfies both the GEC requirement and a program requirement for this major. ** Of the 18 remaining hours required for the major, no more than 12 hours of upper-division coursework can be selected from any one of the three following course areas: (1) United States history, (2) European history or (3) other (Latin American, Asia, Africa and other non-United States, non-European courses).
