The Criminal Justice BA program participates in the University’s 3+3 law pathway memoranda of understanding with Mississippi College School of Law and University of Mississippi School of Law. Students majoring in Criminal Justice and interested in pursuing a legal career can benefit from this agreement to reverse transfer credits earned at a participating law school, with 12 law school credit hours reverse transferring to Criminal Justice electives and 18 law school credit hours reverse transferring to general electives. Criminal Justice majors pursuing the 3+3 Law School Pathway need to complete the Criminal Justice BA capstone course in the second semester of their junior year. The minor requirement will be waived for students who successfully complete the 3+3 Law School Pathway.

- Majors must complete a minor in a separate academic discipline selected with an eye to enhancing occupational opportunities and marketability. The school endeavors through individual advisement to identify the best minor area of study for each student’s professional development.
