The Bachelor of Science in Sport Management prepares students with the knowledge and skills needed for leadership and managerial roles in the sport industry. Graduates are prepared for careers with professional sports teams, intercollegiate and interscholastic athletic programs, university recreation departments, and national athletic organizations. - All students in the major are required to complete three hours of the practicum in sport management (SM 392 ) that provides hands-on professional field experience. Practicum (part-time) and internship (full-time) experience in the sport industry is critical for success in this career field.
