Electives:
In addition to the three (3) required nonprofit courses, all students must complete two (2) electives or six (6) semester hours. Students cannot use courses that are part of a completed certificate or degree program if the student has already had the certificate or degree conferred. Transfer electives from other institutions may not be applied to this certificate.
There are three paths to completing the certificate depending on a student’s current and prior coursework. Students who have taken no graduate level business courses should follow Path A. Students who are currently working on but have not yet completed their MBA should follow Path B. Students who have completed the Business Foundations Graduate Certificate or the Master of Business Administration should follow Path C
Path A: Students who have taken no graduate level business courses should choose two of the following courses as their electives:
- BA 600 - Management Foundations
- BA 611 - Accounting Foundations
