The Digital Innovation Minor requires a total of 19 hours, only six of which may be counted in any major.
The Digital Innovation minor is an interdisciplinary curriculum designed to prepare you for exploring the wide fields of digital innovation in computing science, media, gaming and other industries. The minor is meant for those interested in virtual reality, animation, digital production across platforms, video gaming, e-sports, and other fields. Students majoring in one of the communication sequences (Digital Journalism, Media & Entertainment Arts, Strategic Communication or Communication Studies) must take at least two electives from the Technology Electives list.
