Nursing Leadership Graduate Certificate

Overview

The Nursing Leadership Certificate is a 13 credit hour program that will prepare baccalaureate, master’s, and DNP prepared nurses to be proficient in leadership and management skills, including the ability to manage human resources and budgets; recognize changes that impact organizations; and develop and implement policies in healthcare and academic settings.Online delivery of curriculum courses will allow flexibility for the working, registered nurse.

Course Requirements (13 hours)

• NUR 813 - Policy and Politics in Healthcare 3 hrs.
• NUR 817 - Quality and Leadership in Healthcare Systems 4 hrs.
• NUR 819 - Economics and Finance in Healthcare Systems 3 hrs.
• NUR 829 - Leadership and Organizational Theory 3 hrs.
