Overview
The College of Business and Economic Development offers the Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with an emphasis in Sport Event Security Management (SESM).
The goal of the Master of Business Administration (SESM) is to prepare students for management roles in sport and event organizations. The purpose of the program is to prepare the graduate with the business management knowledge and skills provided by the MBA and the specialized knowledge and skills needed to meet the evolving challenges of safety and security in a sports environment.
Admission Requirements
In addition to adhering to the Admission Requirements and Procedures , the master’s program applicant must:
- Have completed prerequisite courses in statistics, accounting, and finance.
- Resume
- Statement of purpose
- Submit a cover letter addressed to the Graduate Programs Admission Committee.
- Three letters of recommendation from academic and/or professional sources.
