Mass Communication Minor

The minor in mass communication is designed for students with a general interest in the field and should serve students with varied interests who choose to pursue a major outside of mass communication and journalism. This minor is not eligible to students who are pursing a degree in Digital Journalism or Strategic Communication.

A grade of C or better is required for all MCJ courses.

Course Requirements

MCJ 101 - Media Literacy 3 hrs.

Select 15 hours of MCJ Electives

Select 15 hours of MCJ courses selected in consultation with an MCJ advisor.
