The Physics, MS program includes core courses in Electromagnetism, Classical Mechanics, Statistical Mechanics and Quantum Mechanics. The Master's program with emphasis in computational science involves research in computational physics culminating in a project or thesis.
In addition to meeting the Admission Requirements and Procedures, applicants must submit GRE scores and be proficient in C, C++, or Fortran programming. Students lacking this background should complete a programming course early in their graduate program.
