The software development certificate enables IT majors, and potentially other non-CS majors, to develop advanced skills in software development.

Hours to Certificate: 18 hours

Required courses:

CSC 307 - Data Structures and Algorithm Analysis 3 hrs.
CSC 317 - Object-Oriented Programming 3 hrs.
CSC 327 - Secure Software Development 3 hrs.
CSC 414 - Software Design and Development 3 hrs.
CSC 440 - Client Side Web Programming 3 hrs.
Students will choose one elective from 300 or 400 level CSC courses.
