The Bachelor of Science degree program in sport coaching education (SCE) offers professional preparation to those who aspire to coach in a variety of athletic and sports settings. They also have opportunities in nonprofit and other professional sports settings. The program offers a variety of courses including coaching methodology, sport psychology, and kinesiology, but does not lead to teacher certification. SCE students must fulfill the requirements for a minor of their choice.

- Students desiring to transfer from other schools or colleges within the University must be in good academic standing and possess a minimum GPA of 2.0 in order to be admitted to a degree program.
- Students must demonstrate proficiency (grade of C or better) in each KIN course required by their degree program.
