The major in industrial engineering technology with an emphasis in logistics is designed to prepare students to meet the growing demands of industry for employees with expertise in manufacturing processes, statistical quality control, production management, automation and computer-aided manufacturing with a special emphasis area in logistics. The programs provide the graduate with a strong background in the technical sciences and applied mathematics and prepares him or her for a wide spectrum of jobs in the manufacturing, service and government sectors in either technical or management positions.
