The computer science degree program with an emphasis in applied computer science provides students with the opportunity to focus on applying computer science theories and techniques to various disciplines, such as computer game design, bioinformatics, or software engineering. Graduates of this program are prepared to begin professional careers in computer science or to pursue graduate studies. For all students pursuing a major in the program, a grade of C or higher must be earned in required computer science courses.
The BS in computer science with an applied computer science emphasis is only available on the Gulf Park campus.
