Foreign Languages (Classics) Minor

An undergraduate minor in Classics requires a minimum of 21 total hours of study with at least nine hours at the 300/400 level. Completion of Latin 101-202 or equivalent is required, as well as at least six hours of courses at the 300/400 level covering the history, religion or philosophy of the Greco-Roman World (offered through the Department of History and the Department of Philosophy and Religion.) Courses in Greek language may be applied or substituted at the discretion of the University’s senior professor of Classics.
