Dance Minor

The following three hours are required:

• DAN 130 - Dance Appreciation 3 hrs.

Two courses from the following are required:

• DAN 101 - Beginning Modern Dance 2 hrs.
• DAN 201 - Modern Dance Technique II 3 hrs.
• DAN 301 - Modern Dance Technique III 3 hrs.
• DAN 401 - Modern Dance Technique IV 3 hrs.

Two courses from the following are required:

• DAN 102 - Beginning Ballet 2 hrs.
• DAN 202 - Ballet Technique I 3 hrs.
• DAN 302 - Ballet Technique II 3 hrs.
• DAN 402 - Ballet Technique III 3 hrs.

Remaining Hours

 With the advice of an academic dance faculty adviser, the remaining hours are chosen from any DAN or DED courses.

Note:

No more than 11 transfer hours will be accepted toward the dance minor.
