Psychology is the scientific study of behavior - understanding how people and other organisms develop, learn, think, feel, act, and relate to one another. Psychology graduates develop an understanding of human behavior. Knowledge about human behavior can be useful in understanding one’s everyday experience and can be applied to a wide range of career options. The program prepares students for entry-level jobs in psychology/mental health, social services, law, business, and education and for advanced degrees in psychology and other professions, such as law and business.
