MED 298 - Music Education Competency Exam0 hrs.
Prerequisite(s): For All Students: MED 199 , MUS 201 , MUS 201L , MED 101 , MED 102 . Additionally, for instrumental students: MED 209 or MED 309 . Additionally, for choral students: MED 331 . This examination serves as an evaluation of BME students¿ potential for successfully completing the BME degree. Students must demonstrate professionalism, beginning teaching skills, dispositions, acceptable progress in GEC and music courses, and potential for development as a teacher.
The course may only be attempted twice.
