NUR 824 - Mixed Methods Health Professions Research

Prerequisite(s): Graduate Level Quantitative and Qualitative Research Course; Permission of the Instructor. This online course provides an introduction to mixed methods research, including foundations of mixed methods research, development of research questions, selection of research designs, strategies for data collection and analysis, and ethical considerations. Strategies for integrating and reporting quantitative and qualitative data will be discussed. At the end of the course, the student will create a mixed methods proposal, appropriate for answering self-identified research questions for health-related or other discipline research.
