MAT 220 - Introduction to Mathematics Education

3 hrs.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 101  or higher. Introduction to secondary mathematics education; state and national standards; problem solving; historical perspective of secondary education; 10 hours of classroom observation in a middle school or high school setting.
