Study of current research techniques and results in scientific computing. Can be taken four times. The objective of this course is to acquaint students with techniques and applications of scientific computing. The students will study the literature in the field and hear presentations from practitioners in the field. Letter grades will be assigned on the basis of written or oral reports on assigned topics.
