Mission
The mission of the College of Nursing is to enhance the health and well-being of the people of the state of Mississippi by preparing graduates at the baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral level of education who are prepared to advance the profession of nursing through education, scholarship, and service.

The vision of the College of Nursing is advancing health and well-being through excellence and innovation in teaching, research and service.
Financial Assistance
Traineeships/scholarships may be available from federal and state funding sources depending on the selected area of study and availability of funding in any given year. Financial assistance also is available from the Financial Aid Office of the university. Funding resources are subject to change, and payback clauses may be part of the funding agreement.
