Requirements for a Minor

Students minoring in information security must complete 21 hours as follows:

15-16 hours from:

ITC 131 - Internetworking Technologies 2 hrs. AND
ITC 131L - Internetworking Technologies Laboratory 1 hr.
ITC 132 - Introduction to Routers 2 hrs. AND
ITC 132L - Introduction to Routers Laboratory 1 hr.
ITC 241 - Networking Security I 3 hrs.
ITC 483 - Windows Client Networking 3 hrs.
ITC 471 - Small Computer Systems 3 hrs. AND
ITC 471L - Small Computer Systems Laboratory 1 hr.
or
CSS 360 - The Unix Operating System 3 hrs.

Six hours from:

ITC 242 - Networking Security II 3 hrs.
ITC 441 - Firewalls and Virtual Private Networks 3 hrs.
ITC 442 - Intrusion Detection Systems 3 hrs.
