Accreditation: Physical Education (K-12) licensure is a member of the University's Professional Education Unit, which is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE), and is nationally recognized by the Society for Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE). Sport Coaching Education is accredited by the National Council for Accreditation of Coaching Education (NCACE)
