Strength and Conditioning minor

The Strength and Conditioning minor prepares students to sit for the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) examination. The minor is available to all students who meet course prerequisite requirements and is especially appealing to students majoring within the School of Kinesiology and Nutrition.  The minor consists of a minimum of 18 credit hours, but depending on the student’s major and individual course prerequisites, additional courses may be required.  Additionally, regardless of a student’s major, all program and course prerequisites apply (e.g., minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50, minimum grade of C, etc.) and students may not count courses in both the major and the minor.  Students interested in the Strength and Conditioning minor should contact an advisor in the School of Kinesiology and Nutrition for specific course requirements.
