The STEM course sequence suggested in this guide reflects existing prerequisites (e.g. calculus is prerequisite for PHY 201, CHE 106/CHE 107 sequence is prerequisite for CHE 255/CHE 255L, BSC 110/BSC 111 is prerequisite for higher level BSC courses, etc.) The enrollment in more than two historically challenging courses in one semester, terefore, cannot be avoided altogether if the student expects to graduate in four years.
The requested changes (elective in first year, adding course options for GEC 06 and GEC 03) were incorporated into this version. I have listed CSC 101 as CSC 101/CSC 101L because this course has a corequisite lab.
